Hard to argue with that bd.

I'm also a Web Fred, it took me 15 minutes of saving files in Pshop to even get that stupid Fredometer graphic to display on the Internet. Saved it as a gif, that worked. It was worth it.

Nevertheless, you have me at a disadvantage, what with your inscrutability and all.

i'm just in a bad mood today, and you were the first to walk into my line of "internet tough guy" fire.

built up in june of '93. about the only thing that's different from the day that it was built up, are the tires/pedals/tape/cassette and computer.

it's not the most forgiving ride, but it still does the trick.

My old CAAD 3 rode like a parking meter post.

Yours is a CAAD 2.8. That's the Microsoft Windows 95 of road bicycles.

I presumed that was to be expected from any New Yorker being away from good bagels and pizza for too long.

That's why I wear that Fredesque road sign yellow shell. In the end, better Fred than dead.

Did I just say that?

I'm sure that commuting on a race bike w/tubulars is the ultimate in fredliness, but at night I don't know how much good a yellow shell will do, unless it is reflective also. My light (I leave on solid, not blinkie) is very visible... I just forgot to take it off before I took the picture. Of course I won't race with it on.

1. you commute with tubulars?

2. there's nothing fredelicios about lights. pcaddy was only messing with you.

maybe it's time to pull back on the miles, it's having a negative effect on your ability to detect humor. ;)

I was trying to be funny too. I guess my humor not so good. I don't usually commute with tubulars. I just got those wheels and wanted to use them before my race this weekend. But that's why the blinkie was there, because I had just come home from work when I took it.

Ready for the 2008 racing season. New seatpost, pedals, fully Zipped (tubies). 16lbs. dripping wet as pictured.

It's fast. Oh yes.

Pcad is slow. Oh no.

Oh well. I'm faster than some of you mopes. That's all I need. DFL + n.

calhoun1 02-01-08 05:53 PM

I am too embarrassed to post my bike... Maybe sometime in June/July when I get my new bike...

All these are just plain ridiculous (and beautiful)

GuitarWizard 02-01-08 05:53 PM

Thank God....now I don't have to post up a thread asking to see your Zipps, as I haven't seen them since like last fall.....

You should enjoy them in photos, if we ever ride together in person they will be going too fast for your optic nerves.

GuitarWizard 02-01-08 05:57 PM

Here's the start of it...

I may be a 4 on the road, but I'm a Cat 1 Trash Talker. Besides, if that pisses you off, what are you going to do? This is cycling. You'll just ride away from me really fast. I can live with that. Where's the downside?

There is no accountability on BF. Just like corporate America. Except here when you get banned they don't give you a $50 million Golden Parachute.

OC Roadie 02-01-08 06:07 PM

Here's mine, all ready for tomorrow's season opener, if only I was ready
