I think that might just be the best looking bike I've ever seen...
Love the stealth look. Ride the ***** outta it! |

So, I don't really race (hence the relatively upright position, but I'm working on that), but I was told I should post this here anyway. New De Rosa King 3. Did the first ride this morning. So sweet:

Since my LeMond Victoire developed a crack in the BB and LeMond no longer exists, Trek replaced it with a Madone.
I call her Big Blue. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...dy/BigBlue.jpg Still fine-tuning everything, bars will most likely be lowered another 1.5cm, and I already know my rear der housing is too short. |

With race wheels. http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e4...9/DSC_0407.jpg fred where's the white bar tape and seat? |
I've seen this bike with white/white and it looks like crap. We've knicknamed the guy snowflake. I am going to red hoods though. And you'll notice white bars.
|
very well...you are allowed...but only because you're faster than me.

after a uhaul killed the le champ, I was in search of a cheap replacement. Here it is. It's ugly but it'll race.
full ultegra 10speed, ritchey everything else, waiting for shop to rebuild powertap. Gunna run open pro's with white rubinos. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...0707091128.jpg |
I actually like how that looks.

I like the Scattante quite a bit, a good clean color combo. |

i believe theres a big diff between rotating and stationary weight. |
Yeah, about 1-2% although the wheel manufacturers marketing psuedo-science won't tell you that. Spin a wheel up to 20 mph with your hand, no energy compared to the weight of you and the rest of your bike going 0-20 at the same acceleration.
I love that Cannondale btw. |
I don't think it's even 1%. I've read on the order of .01% to .1%. Either way, basically nonexistent.

How does that frame ride? The performancebike frame's are my official crash replacement frames if anything were to happen to my Fuji and I couldn't afford Fuji's crash replacement cost.

Flip it.
The bike I mean. You have it on the non drive side. |
I've been toying with the idea of getting a Mercier Draco frame off of bikeisland, with Zonal aluminum and all, but that Scat looks pretty good. I'd have to repaint it though.
