Actually, that comment brings up a good point - I'd better complain to the local politicians to get our streets paved as these perpetually muddy trails up here in the Pacific Northwest can wreak havoc on road bikes. The horse drawn carriages don't like 'em either...

BTW, on the Element6, I'd love to know how their carbon stacks up to "the big guys". Their bikes are VERY reasonably priced, and the "winter special" on their website is enticing. Sadly, I won't be in the market until around April.

Finished up my Ridley build. I just moved everything off my old race bike onto the Noah frame with a few new bits here and there. I still need to dial in my position, that's why there is some excess steerer tube. Sorry, I don't have a white garage door.

I have about 500 miles on it and I love it. The first ride I kinda scooched around on it trying to find the sweet spot. Once I did it "disappeared" and it's been great.
