Hi,

Update to my training and weekday race rig:

Fell out of the winning break while riding this at the Tuesday Night Worlds this evening.

BTW, playing with HDR photography so the color balance isn't quite right.

New weekend race rig coming up soon.

Also, the wheels Wonderboy is showing are "team-only" editions for this year - not yet available to the public.

Oh, I have a quote on the current 50mm rims, but I'm trying to hold out for the new hotness. It's not like my current set is holding me back any .

Hida, why does your front wheel have a dork disc?

@RTC - well, both front wheels have something going on if you are looking.
Road bike - the front hub looks like this close up- an idea that never went very far for them - but the wheel works just fine.
Track bike - using a road skewer for the moment, getting it onto the truck-bed rack or into the back of a wagon goes better without the front wheel, the real skewer goes on when we have action time.

Hello,

Kind of a record for me, third race rig in three years. This succeeds the Lapierre Xelius which succeeded the Cervélo R3:

First race on it was the same race where Racer Ex rode barefoot.

Since I can't ride fast I need a bike that looks fast (at least to me).

Traded the Scattante frame for the Six13 frame... It only took a wreck and getting knocked out to do it but I am alive and now chomping at the bit to ride the Six13 that I got built this past weekend. Took a hard fall in a crit last weekend. Broke my helmet and frame and replaced both this Saturday after I got off the crutches and could actually drive myself to the bike shop. First race is going to be a little time from now. Have to heal up first.
