With training wheels on... for sale on eBay now. I have a newer Ridley that I'll post when it's finished being built.

The 2012 "6.9/SSL" frame is designated the 700 Series, to differentiate it from the 2011 which AFAIK was the 600 series. I don't call it a "6.9", because I got the frame and put a mix of parts on it: some from the 5.2 and some new. But it's essentially a D/A 7900 6.9. For 2012, the higher end 6 series Madones use 700 series frames. The ST is asymmetrical, and I'm not sure that was true in 2011.

Waiting for some punk to go home from college and send me a set of traditionals...

Regarding weight, that one came direct from Bmc after my last cracked in the downtube in three spots and the seat tube in a couple while doing short intervals one day.

Update from a year ago

Sorry about the blurry.
Started running 25cc tires and its great.
Also started running a 120mm stem, which is also great.
Too lazy to get the extra stack cut. I suppose I'll never get on slamthatstem.com

/Shrug.

The deda newtons I have are the only things i was ever comfortable on... I did use bartape to pad the bends though.

The other things I loved were the bars that came stock on my 84 trek. Never seen those bars for 31.8 though. They were also 38cm...
