"I don't know why he has a watterbottle on the downtube rather than behind the seat as it is so much faster to have the bottle behind the seat." Referring to the Chicken in the ITT

Edit " A lot of times they don't use a regular round water bottle in time trials." Stage 5 ITT

Pronunciations are killing me . . .

Robbie, for the love of God, the word is "especially" -- not "expecially." The word is "escape" -- not "excape." And the riders we're watching today? They're called "time trialists" -- not "time trialers." I can forgive the technical glitches all day long. But these pronunciations . . . Sheesh. . . .

don't forget that pro bike racers (current or retired) are not exactly the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Posted yesterday, the dick from Velo News with the pot belly and grizzly adams beard said about Jens
"he already blew his load". That's the same tool that admitted yesterday "I've never really done commentary for a live race before". no sh@&*#.

Note to Amgen you are a multi million dollar company get Phil and Paul or at least Bobsky, Ventura and the ass from Velo News are an imbarasment.

LOL!!!

I train with Robbie's outfit (VQ). He is a great guy - really nice person and without doubt one of the most motivated and excitable guys I have ever met. He is VERY hyper - just his personality. From my experience there is no ego at all and he is genuinely interested in whoever he is talking to and takes a real interest in all the people who ride at and train with VQ.

Some quit before they go over the edge, or they get sick of living in the back seat of their car..

The guy has to talk pretty much non-stop for 5 hours a day. Some of the stuff he says is not going to be too well thought out. At least he is generally entertaining and much more interesting than that other guy in the booth.

Give Robbie a break, he'll get better with time. He knows his stuff and he's obviously into it. He just needs the right fellow complimenting him and the present fellow is not it. More laid back Bobsky would work.
