UCI collegiate team

So... how is riding around Irvine, and is the team any good?

Thanks.

You could really do better in the UC system, in terms of biking. Once you get out of the city, there is some decent biking in the LA area. The team is decent - not the best in the WCCC, but pretty good.

I'll let someone else who knows more about them chime in. To be honest, I can't really remember much about them despite going to every race weekend.

from what i remember biking from the USC campus, downtown really sucks in terms of biking. u really need to get out of the city to get any variation.

not really. you just have to know where to go

OP: Irvine is a great place to ride. There are plenty of rides in the area all week long. Post in the SoCal forum for more info. Dont know about the UCI team though.

too much traffic for my liking, roads not wide enough, road conditions subpar. i think there's a reason why the usc team only does group rides on weekends. oh well some ppl have it better than others. im just glad i dont go there.
