it was a 30 minute "(hilly) TT".

a skinsuit, booties/shoe covers, some arm warmers, and embrocation was all that you needed.

a puffy jacket most certainly was not.

That's not a puffy jacket, it's a long sleeve jersey. It was cold Euro boy. Anyone in a skinsuit would have required a medivac chopper to Westchester Medical Center for exposure. E. Stevens was dressed in a similar fashion that day. She is a pro. The hilly part included 40 mph descents.

It was a friggin charity fund raiser fun TT, not the Netherlands National Championships. Embrocation. Somebody shoot me.

I am only grateful botto doesn't have access to my iPod playlist. The BF Flame War Potential in that is frightening. God help me if he learns I'm a closet Bread fan.

Actually, my race went off @ 10AM or something, it might have been colder, like low 40's. It was freezing that morning. Not winter cold, but pretty close.

I'm trying to figure out how anyone who wasn't at the event that morning could really make any meaningful commentary on appropriate dress for the conditions, but then this is BF, meaningful has nothing to do with it, even in the 33.

Yeah, I'm not that impressed either. It doesn't look as bad on the photo though, when I scanned it after not using my scanner for a while since it was broken, it was a little dusty.

it was a TT and you dressed like it was a nyack ride in december. rub your remaining brain cells together, and figure it out.

I'll rub my brain cells together in the unlikely event you ever get over yourself. Then you can make three wishes when the genie pops out of my ass.

I wasn't really in contention in this race, but at this point I'm just coming over the top of a runup that was steep enough that you could fall over even without holding a bike.

This was taken during my test rides for the Eddy Merckx EMX 1 at a crit race in Columbia SC. Black helmet Glory gear is me. The guy behind me works in my office. He is SC crit champ (Marc Williams) quite obvious he is not suffering like me.

No smiling here. I don't race on the road but cross bikes are kinda roadish. I'm way too out of shape to smile.

11th out of 20-something in the Men's Bs of our local midweek series. So, I race because I am mediocre at it and look ridiculous while I'm doing it. What is it with cycling and self-punishment?

Great quality photos, but you jersey is a few sizes too large. Embrace your lack of body mass.

Tour de Gruene, heads a bit higher than I normally hold it, probably approaching a turn.

You'd think that with all the money you throw down on bike stuff, you'd have clothes that actually fit.

Returning to transition area during I AM ABLE duathlon. I felt good, and had a good running mate...finished 1st place men's team.
