Do you know who they are? I don't have any info from them and didn't see them on the sponsor list (sometimes they are).

haha. yeah, i was in the masters race. I swear we got hailed on at one point as we came to the base of the finishing "hill". I was glad that we were allowed to race and not neutralized when the weather was at its craziest.

edit: funny... you have riskus in front of you and next to him is MDcatV :-D

I thought that was Lithuania in front of me. You can see his beard and the white Hincapi style Oakleys.

I've looked everywhere and asked race organizers but cannot find the photo of me from two weekends ago.
Picture me way off the front in a solo (albeit useless) attack in a horrible downpour with lightning and bits of hail.

Some nice woman was weathering the storm taking photos of the race and snapped one of me panting in the rain as I passed. Man, I wish I could find it. It would be a classic photo.

Smaller woman with brown hair and a nice camera setup?

If so, try: www.tinawronaphotography.com her husband and son both race, and she's usually there taking pics of the races. Shoot her an email with your number/description and the race info and she'll let you know if she got one of you.

Very nice family, the kid is a total member of the future CAT1s of America Club. A month or so ago I'm laying down 500+ watts up a hill, and only the little guy, his dad and one other guy are left of the much larger original group. He's like 12...

Thanks man. I have no idea what she looked like. It was raining pretty bad at the time. I just made out a female figure (I'm good like that you know).

It amazes me at some of the Jrs' strength.

Tina said she isn't doing the massive photo thing anymore - unless requested (probably meaning by the organizers and for pay). She wants to enjoy the races with her son and husband more.

Good for her. Bad for us. She did a great job last year.

Solid. Yeah, you nailed the problem on the head. Can't ride for fun very easily if you're working at a shop. But the discounts are nice

Yeah, it wasn't her.

The only pic of me where you can actually see an emotion or suffering of any sort (I'm usually accused of having an expressionless face on or off the bike). This was at the end of a cross country mtb race in Big Bear where we climbed for 23 miles. Knowing the race distance was 26 miles, I was starting to get concerned about how we were getting back down. Worse than I had imagined, we were basically riding down a steep dry creek with rocks the size of my front wheel all over. At one point my fingers spasmed from holding the brake for so long and I just flew into the rider ahead of me before falling down. What a crappy course, which reminded me why I liked road racing so much better.
