Wente Vineyards Criterium
Seems like there's a good sized norcal contingent here...what do you guys think of this crit? Looks like it could be interesting. I'm deciding whether to race this in the morning, I've got the Stanford crit in the afternoon, and I'm coming all the way up from San Diego, would be nice to get more than an hour of racing! The road race on Saturday looks epic, but I won't be able to make that.

The road race is on a really nice course. It's not too far from where I live so I ride it all the time. It's a great mix of some medium length climbs, some rollers and a nice downhill.

The crit is a pretty wide open course, not technical at all. Long finishing straight, the sharp right before hand is a great place to pick up levers, computer heads, and bits of bar tape. What cat would you be running?
If you make it come by and say hi.

So are you going to be sandbagging in my race or just doing the masters? Well, as long as you don't TT off the front I'm fine, right? =)

I'll be working both the RR and crit since it's my team hosting both. RR is a great course that I ride 2 time a week.
Crit last year had that crash in the 3's, actually had 2 crashes, I think. Final right turn before long finish straight was my corner last year, saw that crash which actually happened about 50m after the turn.
See you all out there, think I'll be working corner 14 Sunday am. Not sure where I'll be Sat.
