shirlington area has some good ones, too (and close to walter reed if you're in the area). Walter Reed tends to be pretty busy and I can't stand doing repeats with cars buzzing my shoulder.

martha custis, gunston and valley drive. you can do a little circuit of repeats on these three that will give you a good mix of short hard "climbs" and longer sustained efforts (valley is a good example of this).
