maybe this was already posted and I missed it? anyway, i thought this was pretty cool. seems team Milram has riders using the Edge 305 and uploading the data to MotionBased.

Interesting how much different the PR racers elevation gain was, even though they rode the same course. It appears they used GPS only. Certainly confirms how inaccurate elevation data (and therefore gain) is from GPS. Heck I have had mine turned on and standing in one place it will go up and down all the time (more than 30-40 feet at a time). Levi used combination GPS/Baro and had a much smoother looking route profile and it is probably a lot more accurate. I agree with dmotoguy - would that I could ride that profile at 70% of what Levi did.

It appears that none of the guys were using the HRM on there Garmin's. I would loved to have seen what Levi's HR numbers were on a climb like that.
