Berkeley Hills Road Race - who went?

Who from BF raced at BHRR today??

The weather was great today - not too hot - huge turnout. I raced and really enjoyed the course in spite of the difficulty. I finished. wasn't last either. lol.

I came across the finish line shortly after Vino rolled by. The dude raced with a broken rib!!!! talk about hard core.

I was at Berkeley Hills RR today. I got 4th in the 4s. Our group of 8 broke away on the first lap and stayed away. We had an awesome paceline going for most of it, and eventually had 3 minutes on the field at the beginning of the last lap. I just didnt have the legs to compete for the win at the end.

I was there. 35+ 1/2/3 - After numerous attacks and breakaways were all chased down and caught, I launched one of my own on a steep little roller about 10 miles from the finish. After about 30 seconds I took a peek to see who I had managed to drag with me, and it was just 2 other guys and we had a few seconds gap.

The bad news was that the 2 guys on my wheel were the 1-2 finishers from this race last year.

The good news was that this breakaway would probably stick, and it did.

Unfortunately, they were too strong for me on the final climb to the finish and I ended up third.

Still, I was very pleased to make the podium.
