How long has that German guy been dressing up as the devil? My main complain about the
TdF from '05 was that he was running around in a green outfit. A green devil?

Yup, I saw that live on RAI tv. The REALLY funny part is that everyone was suffering/concentrating so much in that group that none of the other 3 riders even noticed! I'm sill laughing!!

i thought that cuapio (sic?) was going to walk away with the stage after that. he seemed to be freewheeling when he did that, while the others were digging.

Yup, I think he forgot about the pain of the climb for a minute while he did his devil fork thing. He was smiling for several minutes afterwards. On the final climb, reality set in though.
