Time Out
Enough is enough with all of the BS drug threads.
Time for a separate forum for the self righteous newbies to wax and wane about the dire situation of a sport that they've only been following for a few years.
This forum is about Racing, not Doping.
Got it? Good.
That is all.

4 of 13 articles on velonews front page are about doping compared to 3 about the tour and not doping. Doping is the biggest issue in professional racing right now.

Doping is not the biggest issue in professional racing, it's the biggest issue in the media coverage of professional racing.

If you're a newbie who wants to look like you've been following the sport for years, just learn to google as fast as Botto. Instant internet expert! Then put down everyone talking about the hottest topic in SPORTS as "self righteous newbies". You'll look like a jaded veteran making a positive contribution to the sport.

Botto you know I love ya man but I respectfully disagree with you on this issue. Doping and professional cycling are so intertwined right now that we cannot separate them. Yes I hate that I can't log onto this site or any other cycling related site without reading about doping. That in itself tells me that the sport is in trouble.
As for newbies waxing and waning about doping, even with your wish granted we'd still have the neophyte racer discussing bike racing weather it be amateur or professional.
I really don't believe that you can have an informed discussion about professional bike racing with out talking about the drug issue. Every day we are presented with a new scandal involving another series of riders.

Oh botto, how the heck did this place function without you last week?
Did the winners of the Maratona have to pee in a cup or give up some blood at the finish line?
