Viva la France!

The rumors that Look cooperated with the Vischey government whilst Time funded the Resistance is just a rumor BTW.

Ha! The facts are that Time used concentration camp labor to build their products, when you look at the Time logo in the right light you can see the Swastika's.

Nice bike, no 595 but a decent compromise

I think Look's advertising campaign said it best:

"From the people who brought you Le Car...Like the Maginot Line was to modern warfare, the new Look 595 will revolutionize the way people LOOK at bicycles"

I like Time's advertising campaign better, it's short and too the point:

Time, we surrender.

Close but let me fix that for you:

time=bentley stately, heavy and over priced.
LOOK=F1 car. Light fast and built for speed.

In the end, I think this debate can be boiled down to a vision of absolute clarity, the moment we pass from this earth.

When a particularly stunning actress was dying of cancer, an interviewer commented that despite her ordeal, she still was beautiful.

"I would gladly trade all my Looks" she was quoted as saying, "for just a little Time."

Gentlemen,

I seriously considered both the Look 585 and Time VXR Proteam (as smoke knows) earlier this year. I love the aesthetic of the Look but the geometry (fit), she was no good for me. The Time's geometry was almost spot on, but ultimately it came down to COLOR. I just couldn't get my head into maintaining a white bike.

So, sometime next week my "mystery" frame should be in my hands. A 2006 Record group awaits in my garage.

Not an unexpected statement from a woman who is undoubtedly so juiced up on morphine than she's not thinking straight. She has forgotten that her LOOK(s) brought her all of her fame and fortune. Now that she's old and decrepit and unable to compete with the younger actors all she wants is Time.
