Everything feels fine except the Fizik saddle which is a friggin brick. Fizik-cally incompatible with Pcad's rump. I'll remedy that shortly. I was droping the hamer today on this bike. It felt fast.

I'd suggest getting a triathalon seat. More padding in the nose. Works well with the forward position for TT'ing.

Cypress 07-13-07 09:02 AM

Black bar tape, FTW.

merlinextraligh 07-13-07 09:06 AM

^^^^
an oyster shell would be much more aero

How's the bike position? I don't post those pics just to get botto excited.

the bike is positioned well. outstanding composition sir. did you use a tripod? ;)

ericcox 07-13-07 09:49 AM

Someone sewed your sleeves back on. Other than that, you look fast in the picture.

NoRacer 07-13-07 10:31 AM

Pcad, how's your breathing? IMHO, you sort of look scrunched up, but if it works for you...who am I to say.

But, you may be even more scrunched when you work the nose of the saddle.

Your saddle looks too high.

:) Just kidding. Looks good.

bvfrompc 07-13-07 10:41 AM

GET THOSE ZIPPS ON FOR THE PICS!!!! It will make the whole picture look faster.

Bantam 07-13-07 10:41 AM

You interested in unload that Fizik?

TheKillerPenguin 07-13-07 11:25 AM

Looks good! Now you need an aero helmet! :)

I don't hate you enough to sell or give you the Fizik. Where's EDR when you need him?

Looks can be deceiving.

Its a stable shot but I think he could have used a solid background instead of the open garage. The door frame line is distracting and intersects the bike awkwardly.;)

What was your triggering device PCad?

Oh...Nice Bike!

This is intended to help but it will sound condescending; pictures of you riding in your big ring "hammering" would probably be more productive than pictures of you spinning in your 39/23. Another thread had pictures of a rider from the side, front and back which I think would also be useful to you.

cmh 07-13-07 11:44 AM

Congratulations on the new sleeves. Now you look like a bike racer instead of a triathelete or a regular customer at "The Manhole" in Chicago.

As you well know, looking fast is far more important than being fast. Why I was looking particularly fast this morning... Sort of like I look particularly like I am working hard at the moment.:D

GuitarWizard 07-13-07 11:54 AM

You have my helmet

Condescension RULES.

Correct.

Plus one bazillion. That seat is not your friend TTing.

Fizik seats blow so hard it's astonishing to me anyone owns them. Cool logo however.

I will try my old Alias 143 and if that doesn't work come back here for specific recommendations. Which will now undoubtedly flow like the inevitable DocRay anti-American diatribes.

ratebeer 07-13-07 12:26 PM

Seat height looks good to me and my makeshift measuring tool. Overall the position looks fast. I think working on your upper body/shoulders to relax and lower your head and to get you as comfortable in the bars as possible might be some fine tuning you benefit from, but yeah, it looks like you've made some major improvements. Kudos. This big stuff has saved you a lot of time.

Questin: are you more or less comfortable?

Like Dick Cheney, I have a Chief of Staff. She took the picture. As far as I know she will not be going to Federal prison. For that matter, neither will Scooter Libby. But I can't feel all that bad seeing as how the speeding ticket I got last October just got reduced to a zero points parking violation. That's similar to Scooter's get out of jail deal, right?

Please note: both Scooter and I had lawyers.
