Interesting tidbit about Armstrong (non-doping)

Armstrong is the only rider that I've ever heard of who never had to get his own musette (ie "munchies bag"). Even Boonen has to get his own at the feedzones. Interesting.

i like the note about big bottles. seriously, why do they used the tiny ones when they can get an extra 8+ oz into a big ones? it would certainly ease up the logistics of distributing all those bottles a bit.

Gerdemann sure looked like he could have used some extra water at the end of yesterday's stage.

Vino wasn't grabbing his own bags, but probably because of his injured arm.

The big dogs tend not to - their domestiques get their bags for them, then ride along side and hand over whatever the hot shots want. Among other reasons, going in for the bags is a fairly frequent crash spot.
