DrPete, bdcheung, others - DC vacation

Hey guys, I'm going to be in DC between August 1st and 5th, with a lot of free time on the 1st-3rd...

Hoping to get in some good training rides with you guys or maybe try the Greenbelt race on the 1st. Only problem is I won't be taking my bike so I'll have to either borrow or rent. A second problem is that I'll need a 60-64cm bike so I'm not sure I'm going to find a shop that rents the outlying sizes.

Assuming I can find a bike, is there a good site with the local training rides/races? Thanks in advanced, guys, and I hope to see you in a week or so.

Brandon

Go to CompetitiveCyclist and rent a Pinarello Paris for the week, or an SLC-SL

Some sites you want to check out are:
http://www.ncvc.net/ - NCVC. Biggest team in the area. On the left hand bar, at the very bottom, are links to their weekly training rides. Sunday Espresso ride is very fast and very hilly, but they claim it only happens during the Winter. If you need a cue sheet I can give you one.

Also, there is a weekly ride that leaves from Capitol Hill Bikes (http://www.capitolhillbikes.com/) Sunday at 9am. That's Pete's team and they're strong.
