No, I'm not taking one, but I figure 'this sport's too hard for me' whining threads come in three's.

Those guys who've burned out need to ride more base.

As this is my first full year in the "racing" forum I hope that the "I'm burnt" threads are not indicative of the late summer post.

I know Pcad knows what it is like to be truly burnt...and it has nothing to do with cycling.

Pcad is far from burnt. I am as fresh as a Bayonne Virgin on a Saturday night.

And yes, get used to the 'I'm burnt' threads. They will start each year in late July. They conincide with hurricane season ramping up and beginning of the perennial Red Sox implosion.

Who's burnt? People have other priorities in life. nobody is complaining about being burnt out.

Burnt? I'm not even close. I just realized that trying to race bikes nationally is pointless if you live in Bozeman, MT and have limited funds. With all of my friends graduating around me, I have taken a closer look at my life and noticed that cycling is taking up a *LOT* of time and money. Time and money that should have gone to school and bills.

Can Pcad at least take a hiatus from referring to himself in the 3rd person? I feel like Bob Dole has invaded BF.
