Evans head

..is it me or is his noggin way too big for that body.

Looks like he's meditating to sharpen his focus on the good and bad wheels to suck for the stage.

Tom Danielson also has a very large head for his body.

You know, I think in large part the reason for the large heads is because they are so thin, that compared to the average body, their heads look disproportionate to their bodies. If most of us were to lose much of the upper body weight these guys have lost, we would look more like that.

I do agree however that the photo looks as if someone altered the photo.

I would tend to agree with VT. Some of these guys have large heads; but most appear that way simply because they're emaciated.

So Pro cyclist bobbleheads would appear life-like?

I think its the scrawny chicken-neck that makes his head appear so large. But I don't know from chickens, so I may be wrong.

That, and the nearly total absence of any muscle mass on his shoulders.

His head is so big and the cleft in his chin is so big that his chin and butt look identical.

Buttocks on your chin can't be good for aerodynamics. For want of a facial airfoil, a TT was surely lost.
