Better Late than never - NY State TT report

Not one of my more inspired moments of writing with my working on helmet cam video of today's race all day, but in case anyone wanted to know what happened while everyone was blowing around Hilltowns, find it here.

For those who don't want to read the drivel (why are you even reading this?) I took fourth overall with a decent 40k time, 52:49.

Bill ... that's a supremely solid ride. You should be very proud. God knows there aren't many guys who can do that. Averaging over 28mph for that distance and those conditions is incredible.

I had the distinct honor of being Jay Joslyn's teammate for the Empire State Games and am still shocked at the motor that guy has. He's really an exceptional athlete.

Nice work!

Mark

What's scarier? Will's time or the fact that three guys rode faster?

Flip a coin?

I need to know what your increasing LT workouts look like.

I need to know what those workouts look like too!! This past offseason I spent a lot of time on position changes. This winter there will be a lot of time spent on the LT increases. Coach seems to think he can bump me to the 380 or 390 range, but I would be very happy with 365 (we have seen 358 this year). I will let him work his magic, and then can let you know!

As a shameless plug, I also enter my workouts on he same site as many of you have seen my reports. I have teammates there who also do the same. It may be worth it to check them out (Mike Gisler and Steven Goldman being the best). There is a LOT of workout info to be found there.

It's not really about the numbers (except on a personal level). Really it is about the fun and the ability to hear PCad speak of himself in the third person.

Maybe with this hair cut. I pshopped a Peter Frampton onto him and he looked pretty cool. The Clooney was nice too.
