7-Eleven or Peugeot knicks circa 1987
So I am reading this article on that seppo Hampsten and I bloody want some black 7-eleven or black peugeot knicks. Am I dreaming? Is there anyone making this kind of retro racing kit anywhere?
|
I've probably got some second hand ones in a drawer somewhere. I'll throw in the skiddies for nothing.
Prendas Ciclismo have peugeot jerseys and shorts. Tres cool. I might get some myself. EDIT - Ha! They have 7/eleven too, |
 bloke.
I'm not worthy of your skiddy riddled jobies. I was more chasing after some of these babies: http://www.worldcycling.com/photocon...ven-Case-7.jpg |

Do they have schools in Australia, or are you all raised by Dingos in the Bush? ;) |

There was a 7-Eleven skinsuit sold on EBay a while ago for some pretty low buck.

That would be size xxsmall. :p When he won a Suntour stage at Donna Buang the old man held him up after the presentation for a chat (which CT was happy to do), which was a bit thoughtless of him considering it was below 0C and snowing. :D Another memory from that day - watching Sid Patterson drinking pots one after the other at Warburton pub. One of the most impressive displays of binge drinking I have ever had the privilege of witnessing. |

Lovely bloke....seemed to have no worries chatting to spotty faced 16 year old try-hards banging on as he attempted to prepare for a race. |
He looked like a little boy too. Must have been a bit of a hard case though, racing on the cut-throat Portugese scene.
Didn't he end up finding God or something? |
