If you can age yourself to 35 years old and move to NYC, I'll guarantee you a spot. GL is all old guys. I think our youngest guy is like 40. But one of our guys did win the NYC 40+ RR in Central Park last summer. So some of them are reasonably fast. And of course, they're all faster than me.

Quoteth the PCAD "They now have to let me race with the GL jersey no matter how slow I am."
This sort of makes you an Elder Shepherd.
Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of faster cyclists, and a partaker of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of Broadcom among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of Broadcom; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. And when the finish line appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
Yep, I know I'm gonna burn for this.

I promise to measure my guads - just as soon as the swelling on my right knee subsides sufficiently so that the guad is bigger than the knee. Welcome to the Wonderful World of 45+.

I'll take another 600mg before bed. Don't tell Dr. W, I'll never hear the end of it. He's Mr. Holistic. He's also <35 years old. He'll see. I'll tell you what kids: you're all one motorcycle or ski crash away from a life-long relationship with Ibuprofen. I've had two knee operations, a neck fusion and a lumbar spine fusion. And I can still walk and ride a bike. How great is that?

Not to rain on your parade but in those older TT pictures of you, aren't you already in the GL kit? Or were you Gotham back then?
I wish I lived closer to the city, I could race one of the Prospects and watch PCad race in person. lol. "Okay, this is what he really looks like."
He's probably a really nice quiet guy. haha.
not very close to the city,

The event was coined excessively awesome, so Homeland Security had to pull the plug on two of us.
This left the Ambiguously Gay Duo to race instead of all 4.

If I have the chance to race Hilltowns again, I would do it... But I'm not so sure about this coming season. That was one of - if not the - best/funnest races I've ever done. E. Hawley road was glorious!

I could have joined Westwood last year, but I didn't out of respect for Dr. W. (I wouldn't embarrass him) and Mikey G. but more because I think their kit is the Fugliest lycra in all of NJ. I take my bicycle racing as seriously as I do BF. At least on BF I have achieved Cult Status. I have that going for me.

I've been wearing their clothing for a couple of years because I like it. I actually participated in sponsoring them in the past, I'm just amping up the Pcad $ this year. Last year was the first time back racing at all in a decade, I raced unattached. It is important to me to look more stylin in the race photos they later try to sell me or that my wife snaps of me (like she'll ever come to a race). You frame these things, put them on your wall, and you don't have to tell anyone you actually got shelled or finished DFL in that particular event. How great is that? All your BBQ guests think you're some friggin Yuppie Imitation Lance.

I tell my non-cycling friends that's an actual CSC team member. Of course they've never heard of Team CSC, so it falls on deaf ears. But I try.

As a paying sponsor, can you not dictate that tube socks be official team kit? They should really throw you a bone, aside from the "we'll let you ride with us, if you pay enough" bone.

But your point is valid, I will take it under advisement.
*We're talking about $1,000 here, so don't get carried away like I do.
** A TAX DEDUCTIBLE $1000 by the way. Pcad is nobody's sucker.

Argyle socks, perhaps, as long as they're not blue and orange?

There's a guy on that team named Nelson Li. He came down for a track race I promoted in Atlanta umpteen years ago. Great guy.
