raced today

I raced today.

Against a bunch of really fast guys.

No money (or boa constrictor primes) for me, but I finished top 20, which I'll take considering the field.

That is all.

Good job. Take anything where you finish - and rubber side down.

Good result! Alachua, I presume? Did it rain?

It was raining here (Orange Park) and I've decided my 41 year old bones aren't coming out for rainy crits this year.

Incorrect.

You should have gone to Progress Park. Think of it, you could be gnawing on a sausage prime right now.

GCC ride is north this morning, be there or be square.

Pluralize that next time. I figured out who "Snap" was half-way through the race; he's got two in for the season already too.

That just means y'all will burn out two races earlier late in the season.

Really, I'm just jealous that I didn't HTFU and get out there Sunday. I will be skiing in Colorado this coming Sunday so I will miss the next one as well..so sad.

Andy, glad to hear you had what sounds like a good race. The way you've been riding, either I suck or you're going to have a great season.

9 am at Holiday Inn on the corner of 13th St. and University Ave. Come ride in the best "race" of the year. It's simple: Test your man/womanhood, 120 miles, one stop, race last 40 miles, first man/woman to Gainesville wins. There will be maps for those prone to getting lost or dropped, or who want to complete the last 40 miles as a tour. No entry fee necessary. Come on time. This aint no wimpdermere.

Skiing in Colorado is never sad! I'll be at Copper on Sunday. Where are you going?
