The shortest rider is Samuel Dumoulin (Jean Delatour) at 158cm.
The lightest rider is Alexandre Botcharov (AG2R) at 56.5kg.
The rider with the biggest lung capacity is Marco Milesi (Caldirola) with 7.74 litres.
The rider with the lowest heart rate is Michael Blaudzun (CSC) at 31bpm.

He is 6"2' and weighed in at 175lbs, AND won mountain stages, including luz ardiden in 1990, over LeMond. (Who did all the work on the climb)

Big Mig is my hero. He's an inspiration to Clydesdales everywhere.

I read somewhere that he could go from like 200bpm down to 60 in like a minute while riding. I think that Miguel Indurain was probably the best natural athelete out there.

BTW, his dimensions are similar to mine-Im 6'1" and 175...Tour de france, here i come!

Yeah, I just read that too, but for the life of me I can't remember where. I'm sure it was either Velonews or Bicycling Magazine, but I can't find it in recent issues of either.

Ok, here we go: October issue of Bicycling. When he was climbing really hard, Mig could launch up to 190 BPM, then when he backed off he'd drop down to 60 BPM within 30 seconds. Unreal.

That is insane. I am happy when mine drops from 190 to 145 in under a minute. It would NEVER drop below 100 while riding.

CHEERS.
