I don't understand UCI rankings. They seem to reward riders too much for doing well in the grand tours. I mean, besides the TDF and the Dauphine, what did Lance really do? This isn't meant to discount his Tour win but I'd like it if the rankings really showed who is consistently a good rider. Someone like Bettini who raced from February to October and raced well deserves a #1 ranking.
