I personally like the pic of the dude on the red Cannondale, with reflectors, sitting up with hands on the bar tops. Must really be trying to get a hold of the tailwind or something.

I have not sat on a TT rig yet and participated in a TT, however the amount of people riding a 3-spoke front, a disc, and an aero helmet with absolutely horrible position is amazing. I would imagine spending 15 minutes in front of a mirror would accomplish more than dropping $10k on some of these setups.

The photo of my position is very misleading:

I was honking into a headwind, having a very hard time getting all the way down into the aero position, it was like climbing a hill. My position looks much better when I see it from the side, particularly when I'm aero (I was on the way back with the tailwind). I can't put out as much power in that full aero position for climbing....

Will, you look like Levi friggin Leipheimer. I look like the Head Fred.

Where the hell are the results to this stupid race anyway? Are they embarrassed to post them? Will they provide a key so we all know how much time to add to each result for an accurate time. Good grief what a college frat boy cluster **** (I get the distinct impressions some of this is Rutgers related).

First, thanks for the great photos.

I have contacted the race about the posting of photos so that I can upload them to USAC, but thus far have gotten no response. *EdIT* results not photos.

Possibly, but I did lower it in order to get more power, it felt too high. Part of your observation is the angle of that photo, I think it's distorting reality a bit, you'd have to see it from the side. I'll be experimenting with that TT bike position over the next month or so and posting pics here, trying to dial it in with sessions on the trainer with the PTap.

I was actually happy with the 290 Watt average from that TT, not happy with having to be elevated out of the aero position in the first half to crank higher watts. F-ing around with all this crap is part of the fun of all this.

Great shots. I'm the 2nd image on the front page. Eddy class. 18:27. Last year that would have been 3rd among non-aero bikes but the conditions were better this year.

You can tell it's early in the run. My hands are on the drops (vs the imaginary aero bars) and my face isn't covered with snot and drool yet.

You got some great shots of my teammates too. Thanks.

DWJO, you should be very proud of that position. Amazing. Congrats again on the win.

Maybe I can go fast enough this year to convince myself to invest in a TT rig... that position is awesome.

PCad, you're moving up fast. Congrats on the beating the wattage predictions from the other thread!

I'm not moving up at all, but hopefully that will change at High Point. Actually at that race, there's nowhere to go but up.

Please do so ASAP, WR.

Every time you post pics of your TT rig, particularly the seatpost/seat, I cringe.

I hate the way it looks in the TT setup so much that I leave the road post/saddle in there on the car, and replace it when I arrive at the race. It's not worth the price of a TT bike for me to fix yet though

Is this better?
