Pack Fodder :(

I attacked once but couldn't stay away. It was too early. Totally worthless attack. Sat in, stayed up front, kept my position - until it mattered most. Then let myself get pinched in the middle of the pack and didn't move. One guy (good friend of mine actually) took off with 10 miles to go, stayed out, and won. Good for him. Great guy.

I had no legs at the end even though I was real strong at the start. I was climbing well, moving with the top guys but totally blew it at the end.

Next week I will do better, promise.

Learning a little more each time. Good work even though you didn't finish on top.

I had the same thing happen to me today.
I was in front towards the middle of the race and at the start of the last lap, but then I just got boxed in...

Report here.

Nothing to complain about with a pack finish. Much better than off the back!

Shoot, I was off the front for a bit matter of fact. No complaints, I know. I thank God for the ability and the fact I came back home unscathed and in a new-ish car I just got.

I just feel like I have to apologize. Jeesh, as soon as I pulled up guys were on me talking about what I've been doing in the races and groups. My manager was talking about it, my team mates, some good friends, and so-on. Not something you want when toeing the line: "So, you're so-and-so doing such-and-such."

Did you end up doing the Masters or cat 4? I figure cat 4 because you didnt say anything about 90 miles or anything. But just wondering.

Cat 4 and thank the Lord of favors. I would not be here talking to you today if I did the 90.

I forgot to mention the most important thing about today. I met Snuffleupagus. He oozed racer-type.
