Pcad takes a rest day and discovers he's married

Oh yes. 16 years married to St. Filomena (Phyllis to you) and since before we tied the knot I have been leaving her on weekend mornings as I go do my Road Nazi routine (training, racing, etc.). But not today. After a very hard week on the bike and a big race tomorrow AM, I figured it was time for a rest day. We slept in, had breakfast together, then took our Golden Retriever Sam for a 4 mile walk in lovely Goosepond Park (about 10 square miles or pristine State Park near here that nobody seems to use except us). So this is life off the bike, eh? I like it. Very nice change of pace.

I did tell my wife not to get used to it. Tomorrow AM it's back in the bike racing mines.

P.S. That walking stuff is pretty good exercise. I liked that too.

+1 I married, "The Walking Lady", (thats what her friends call her). Some of the best moments in our marriage have occurred on those many walks...or right after them.

You try to say no to this dog:

It can't be done. No regrets. Great day.
