Booze Buying

Do you ever wake up after a night of drinking to find an order confirmation email innocently awaiting you in your inbox?

Apparently I will be receiving a set of Look Keo Carbon Ti pedals from PBK shortly. Who woulda thunk.

Hiding my wallet won't work, I have my CC numbers memorized.

No, but I have found messages, similar to the one below, after waking up after a night of drinking.

I've woken out of a drunken stupor next to my sister's best friend who was getting married soon thereafter. Does that count for something?

Considering that you're a Southerner, I hope your sister wasn't there as well.

Pedals and BF suspensions? Pshhh. In the realm of drinking and stupid behavior, you guys are chumps.

I once woke up from a six-month bender and found myself married.

I woke up once buried under a foot of snow after I passed out in a blizzard. Luckily my constant breathing kept my airway clear. Came back in the next morning soaking wet b/c I had melted the snow around me. My roommate was like wtf happened to you?

I never bought anything or woke up next to someone unexpected after a night of many drinks. But one night, many years ago, I had my wits about me enough to call a friend (at midnight or so) - I had a massive crush on her and she didn't mind - and have her pick me up and let me sleep at her house. Then I woke her up at 8 AM and asked her to drive me back to my car because my bike was there and I wanted to go do Gimbles. I figured I wouldn't make it too far but what the hey so I just attacked and stuff all over the place, pouring sweat the whole time (a combination of the beer and whatever liquor I had the prior night). I went long, didn't get dropped on the first climbs, won the 120 sprint by a mile, didn't get dropped on that PITA false flat afterwards, and got beaten in the second/end sprint for second by a bike length. Best Gimbles I'd ever done.

BTW, while I was out she did all my washing, ironed it, cleaned the house from top to bottom including the shthouse and the shower, taped the football so I wouldn't miss it, cooked dinner, brought me a slab of beer and had it cooling in the fridge for when I got back, and invited her hot bi girlfriend around because she decided she wanted to try a no holds barred threesome.

A while back, I bought tickets online for a Type O Negative concert whilst not in my right mind. I was a bit pissed this past Friday when the venue called to tell me the show was cancelled.
