How steep is that? I wasn't sure if it was worth the hike to check it out.

Memorial Hall is a great place for a bike race. The ECCC Philly Phlyer TTT and circuit race were at Memorial Hall. That would make for a crit with loooooong straights, though!

Sure was! Made up for crashing out the day before. I damn near got 2nd, had to settle for 4th. Definitely the best circuit course of the season.

Is Turkey Hill a place or does it refer to the ice cream?

not sure on the grade. I remember 1st time I did this race I hadnt seen it but on a map. Going up a slight/steady grade that leads up to the "wall", it looked surreal, like an asphalt building with yellow lines down the middle. Not very long, but steep, I was in 39x23, out of the saddle and going as hard as I could. Thing that really sucks is there is an uphill grade before the wall, then after going over the wall part you make a right turn into a prevailing headwind and continue on a false flat for while - damn that hurts.

It refer's to the ice cream and drinks and they hand out a ton of free stuff. It's a great race and great atmosphere, I am bummed that I had to miss it this year.
