SS, just how long and how often are you gone on "Long endurance Rides" while your wife is unaccounted for? Does she encourage you to get in "a few more miles" and "Don't miss your training ride today for me! I like the time to myself." You don't want for her to be TOO encouraging of the cycling.

I'm a big 3EB fan, but I felt considerably un-hip at the their recent show in Manhattan surrounded by 3000 other rabid fans whose average age had to be about 22. I was the Daddy that night. Oh well. What a great show. Once the rock starts, I forget that I'm surrounded by kids not much older than my own daughter and enjoy the music.

But ... am I getting where you were going with this. You know, the whole "TOO encouraging of the cycling." You don't suppose she wanted me out of the house for a reason? Milkman? Ups Man? Mailman? Yard Service Guy? Pool guy? Wait... we don't have a pool. But the neighbors do. OH MY GOD!!! She's doing it with the neighbor's pool guy!!!!!
