****************ED**I*T: nope, still can't make any sense of his ramblings. Maybe I could if he wrote in a manner that vaguely resembled some sort of established language.

Pic from our race photographer:

No, I did not see him at the race.

*EDIT* - he's the one in yellow.

That a boy Ryan... riding on the bars in a race (and on flat ground) Pic must have been taken when "about to puke on first lap".

Stop ripping on him - he went out and raced. Which is all any of you ever asked him to do. So, STFU and GRYB.

I don't believe that's the finish, think it's after x laps. Could have been the finish, who knows.

I called him my new hero. I'm not kidding. He replaces Dr. Bob, the 64 year old bike racer who I caught at the top of the Hook Mtn finish on the Nyack Ride yesterday. That would mean this 64 year old dude was ahead of me at the time.

I'll keep Dr. Bob a hero and add Ryanf. I can have two heroes.

It's one thing to comment on his low-level grasp of English writing; it's another to berate his riding style.

One he's actively sought to improve; the other remains unchanged.
