We get a provincial license when we race in Windsor, but I'm sure that's not the formal arrangement.

Technically, you need an international license. Canada, despite it's similarities and friendliness, is still a foreign country.

^What he said. The club there sells a 'Citizen Permit' to us.

I believe you are required to wear one of those "Elmer Fudd" plaid hunting caps and say "aboot" instead of about. Other than that its just some paperwork.

No, just hold the can so people can see the label. You don't have to actually DRINK it.

BTW, the women are beautiful, but don't try to talk to them when the hockey game is on.

"Molson" is a beer maker, not a brand of beer.

I've never heard anyone say "aboot" unless they were messing with Americans.

I seriously doubt you'll see any guys in red tunics on horseback unless there's a parade.

The money is real.

The woman are friendly if you're not an a-hole.

It's probably stopped snowing by now.

A bike race is a bike race. You'll probably not notice much difference once the gun goes.

Make sure you stop at a "Tim Hortons" for coffee, a sandwich and some donuts.

Try to remember that if they let you in.

As a Canadian who has raced in the States, all I needed was a letter from my sanctioning body (Cycling BC) and my UCI license. Get in touch with your sanctioning body. It would suck to take such a long trip and then be forced to train rather than race.
