Tour de Gruene TTT??

Anyone ever ridden this event? ( i am sure waterrockets has) How hard is the course? I am thinking of making this my first actual "race", so i will be racing in what basically is the cat 5 group (if it was sanctioned). I just joined a local team and will probably try to talk one of my team-mates (close to the same level) in doing this TTT with me....

It's an incredible race. I think I've done it 5 or 6 years now. The course is rolling hills in the 1st quarter, technical in 2nd quarter (and stunning right next to the river), some climbing in the 3rd quarter, and downhill ROUGH chipseal in the 4th quarter.

Pick a tire pressure about 10psi than you'd normally run, then let out another 10psi

Total blast. You can run it with multiple teams too, and the organizers will schedule to accommodate. So, go fast with a teammate the first lap, then do a lap with a lady friend or a kid
