Giro de San Francisco
What a great day of racing. Not that I did great, all I can say is I managed to finish in the front hal of the pack. But hanging out watching some stacked fields go at it was great. Olympic time trialists, to UCI pro's showed for the pro events and they put on a great show. Mark Sayers of BMC got off the plane in San Francisco from Chicago after doing the road race championships and really stirred up the mens pro race.
Were you there? How did ya do?

Long day for me. I did 22 laps in the shortened 35+ race, then 55 laps in the P/1/2 race.
Let's see that's 462 turns and I kept it upright through all of them, so it was a good day.
Out of 77 chances I only hit that huge pothole on Vallejo 2 or 3 times!
I finished back in the pack in both races.
I attacked a lot in the masters race and won a prime, not so much in the P/1/2, but I did get off the front for a couple laps with 125+ guys chasing me. It was the biggest crit field I had ever been in and I think the longest too at 40 miles.
