VOTS was awesome, although too flat for my tastes. I'm more of a climber myself. TBC's RR looks perfect for me though, very hilly. I'm definately looking forward to it.

The third stage is really the most fun, non-stop racing and climbing. Everytime things start to relax you descend and speed things up and then you're immediately climbing again.

It's a lot of fun ... and definately a race of attrition.

well the whole thing went really well. the road race was tough, but i found the climb to be a lot easier than i expected save for the attacks that came on the 12%-14% part of it. i ended up keeping my 3rd place overall on the gc until the end today, but the circuit race was almost as hard as the road race only because of the inconstistant pace of the juniors. i had a good time and definately plan on coming back next year.

TBC 14 pct grade?

!4 pct grade on Gates Pass? You're kidding. I live in Tucson and have ridden the pass both ways, on a tandem, several times; but it's no 14 pct in my book!
