NC races 1/31, 2/7: Orange County Speedway Winter Series

NC, SC, VA, etc racers... Triangle Velo will again host the first North Carolina races of 2009 at Orange County Speedway. See our website for details: https://trianglevelo.googlepages.com or here's a direct link to the flyer.

We'll have a 4/5 race, a masters race, a 3/4, and a p/1/2/3 on both Saturdays (1/31 and 2/7). I hope to see lots of people out there- sub, wanders, ilpirata, snuff, wolfpack, flatballer, etc.... I'm looking at you all!

We will also put on the second annual Sanford Criterium in late April (I believe it's the 26th this year). The inaugural event was a smashing success last year and we plan to make things even better for 09.

Keith

I'm there for 1/31. If I can find a place to chain up my 6 year old, I'll be down for the 7th.

Sanford is a given.

Good stuff- glad to hear it. Hey, if the weather's good on the 7th, there's a lot of chain link fence around the track to strap the seven year old to...

You should provide child and pet sitting services

but of course... even with the hand casted up, you could always come out to take pictures, cheer people on, etc. if the weather's nice (looking like sunny and high of 45 or so right now, so not too bad). Hope to see you to race on the 7th!

Oh yeah, I'm in for the 7th. Despite the fact that if I were to draw a venn diagram consisting of "shape" and "me" the sets would be mutually exclusive...

Wheel sucking ftw.

Yeah, I remember your wheelsucking on Saturday... I predict people won't think of you as a wheelsucker in that race.

I'm out of shape for me, not out of shape for a 3/4 race

Bring the dog lot. We can lock the children and the animals in it during the races, call it a "Petting Zoo" and hope that the SPCA or Child Services doesn't show up.
