I'd like to get down for 1 or 2 of the Greenville races but don't know. I am planning on the Remax RR though.

I'll do my best to get down there, it's all based on when I get my new bike all built up. Was at my first NC Cross...it was a nice event, too freaking cold...but other than the one person who showed up in my alumnus college kit that turned out to be a total dick i'm happy that he dropped out after lap two having driven over 6 hours to the race....annyways. all the SC and NC peeps were very nice. It was my dad's first cross race and he wants in!

yea, Sub, might be able to get out for at least one or two weekends, maybe all 3, but will have to wait and see how i do for the first 2-3wks of february. wolfpack classic is 2/14 and i'm gonna give that one a try too. left hand in cast for 2 more weeks then i've reallly got to hit the road hard and make up for being out, though i am on the trainer for the next 2 wks. maybe VV will be there too.

awww, man...i was gonna do the winter cx series this month. did the first one in salisbury, had a great time...went to the second one in W-S, crashed on the last lap on the cobblestone/asphalt going around a wet turn. broke my left thumb. in a cast until 2/3. after i get that off, i've 2 weeks to get into some kind of shape to try the Wolfpack Classic RR.

so, i'm stuck on the damn trainer right now cause i can't hold the bars with the left hand - kinda makes the thumb hurt. don't want to take any chances of falling and hurting myself again. and, if y'all have some good ideas for 45-60min trainer sessions, lemme know. coach troy is getting on my nerves.

haven't done 2x20's in a long time. ftp last year was around 185, but i'm consistently over that number in a lot of my rides when i look at the 20min & 60min power. also, over the associated numbers for L3-L5. my L4 was 168-195w and i've been doing these rides with the guys where i'm way over that 195w and not hurting at all. i'm thinking my ftp is more like 200 now. maybe i should try these 2x20's one evening?

More than once a week could help and get some VO2s in once and a while too.

sub, wolfpack, and anybody else: how come you're not posting about the actual first races of the season, the Triangle Velo winter series? 1/31 and 2/7. Details at https://trianglevelo.googlepages.com

Well, that won't keep you away from the 31st Calling for mid-forties and sun at the moment...

Thanks, wanders- I saw those when perusing the other thread!
