Doesn't matter - from what I've heard out of JV's mouth, Vande Velde is 100% focused on the Tour this year - which makes it unlikely he'll bust his ass at ToC.

I don't see Cancellara putting enough time into the climbers through the TT to cover his arse over Palomar.

I'm rooting for the "2-year suspensions are over" podium of:

1 - tugboat
2 - birillo
3 - 'roid

I bet we have a huge CSC/Astana/Highroad/garmin throwdown... they all have pretty stacked teams.. I can't see one team being overly strong in this one..

Give me Basso. What can I say? I have man love.

Actually, I don't even know if he is being sent or who is really on form for them.

I would like to see Basso, Landis and Z dishing out the pain. But I believe Floyd might have a metal hip, Z might be riding in support, and Basso? Frankly, I am too busy training/posting on teh internets to follow this stuff.

Gesink's been steadily progressing, a nice effort last year, good Vuelta too. Seems to like coming into the early season on form as seen by ToC/Paris-Nice last year, and he just seems like a nice kid.
