Been doing that for two years on my TT bikes. Only I use a small aluminum strap tie wrap on with a little velcro to hold the computer on.

I'm not saying Garmin was the first - just saying it was the first time I'd seen it

Ex and CaseLaw should have patented that method of mounting. Then you'd be soaking in royalties from ProTour teams.
