Ouch, what are they going to use for the Solvang TT?
I wonder who the other 3 bikes belonged to.

Um, I'm sure Lance will just put a call in to Waterloo and have 3 more TTX's shipped out.

He's kind of a big deal up there.

Seriously what are they going to do with a one of a kind TT bike? Only thing they can do is sell the SRAM Red parts and keep the frame/wheels, some people are total idiots.

I can't believe that they wouldn't have better security. Where did they park the truck in a back alley? There are cameras everywhere in Cali got to be an image somewhere.

Cameras don't actually stop the crime. It'll only help you recover

It's good to know most people don't have the knowledge to run a proper chop shop. Sandpaper, meet paint.

all anyone could do to Lance's TT bike is measure it and see if there are some secrets
in the frame or what the Q-factor is

that is the only value it has. to the competition

It was Stapleton, he is going to take everything on the bike and claim it was developed by HighRoad techdev.

Hincapie is going to show up in the start house in Solvang with a very suspicious TT bike!

Sure... but if that's the deal, you'd think the thieves would go for easier targets. If all they want to do is repaint TTX frames and sell them, why not just steal them from an LBS? Why bother with Lance Armstrong's bike and the security around the team trailer if they're simply repainting and selling?

you think they knew it was Armstrong's bike? Or did they just take whatever was closest to the door?

Guessing they didn't, they took three road bikes and then I am sure they noticed a really fancy black/yellow bike and got greedy.

Even the three road bikes they took are useless, I believe all riders names are under the clear coat.

These idiots really did not think this through
