New Race Rig Build, opinions.
After spending a lot of time on the phone with Keith Williams at Williams Cycling and Dan Barnes of VeloVie Cycles...I am really stoked for this build!
FRAME/FORK: VeloVie Vitesse 300SE (58) -perfec geometry, super light, super stiff.
STEM: FSA OS-150 Carbon Faceplate (120)
HANDLEBAR: FSA Omega Compact (44)
SEAT POST: FSA SLK Carbon
SADDLE: Selle San Marco Concor Light Titanium (Black)
LEVERS: SRAM Rival
R/D: SRAM Rival
F/D: SRAM Rival Braze-On
CRANKSET: SRAM Rival
CHAINRINGS: RotoR Q-Rings
CASSETTE: SRAM OG-1070 (11-28)
CHAIN: SRAM OG-1070
BRAKES: Ciamillo Zero G
PEDALS: Speedplay X-Light
WHEELS: Williams Cycling System-58 carbon tubulars and Williams Cycling System-19 alloy clinchers
I'll either do Blackburn (black) metal cages, or Tacx Tao cages. Not sure about tire choice. Depends on the weather when it arrives I guess.
Once it's built, I'll have photos to post.

Many thanks. I'm stoked. Other than a test ride I did for DailyPeloton.com, the Storck Fascenario, I've been off the bike since October. Very much looking forward to putting the hurt back into my legs.
The bike is beautiful, can't wait to build it.

What was your impression of the Storck Fascenario 0.7?

It is a fantastic bike. No frills...just a flat out great bike. Stiff but not the stiffest. Was relatively comfortable. The best feature of this bike was it's handling. Far and beyond, this bike was the best handling bike I've ever ridden. I would imagine it being a great stage race bike. Something on the neutral side that kept you thinking on the road ahead and less on how the biek performed...if you know what I mean? If I had the money...I'd get one in a heart beat.
But I don't race stage races...I race crits, circuits and RR...so my VeloVie will be perfect for that!
