Weird, I happened to watch Farenheit 451 while on the rollers this morning. I kept expecting it to be Monty Python, for some reason.

Interesting, I didn't even know there was a movie of that. Loved the book though (and have gotten around to some of her more recent work lately and have been pleasantly surprised), so I'll check it out.

So to the stock woes again.

I bought some stuff (gbg) for about 200 bucks, it's 300 now. Time to take the money and run?

Breakfast of Champions ftw.

Also for one that made a good movie, Slaughterhouse 5.

Oooh, EDR that's #1 on my to-re-read list right now (as it has been for about 2 years--I'm not very good at re-reading books since I am too easily distracted by everything new in the world). That's one of those books that you know will demand a re-read on your first time through it...

I would sell and look for another trading vehicle. Gold is not likely to keep going up forever.

Read God Know's when you get the chance...it's really funny...good riff on the Old Testament.

I think the price is being inflated as they just announced that the mine they've been working on in SA is going to start producing by the end of the month.

In any event, I'm not much of a gambler, so this easy out is the ticket I need. Plus, the $ opened weak today so that caused the jump.

Yep. Gold will probably peak sometime in mid to late 2011 and start to drop when the world economy starts it's real recovery....probably in late 2012.

Don't you have to pay a fee per trade?

No, but holding on to it isn't going to hurt...I think it'll be a while before it takes any kind of a real dip.

I bought in in '01/02, when it was about 250-300 per oz. If you bought in last year, when it was 750, you may have a different point of view. But I haven't even looked at it's value in a couple weeks...is it still over 1100?

he doesn't own gold. he owns stock in some gold mining company. I think 50% ROI is a great time to unload it.

I didn't like Catch-22. I spent so much of it extremely confused. I think I tried to rush through it, which didn't help matters. Maybe I should read it again.

Take your time with it wens, it's worth it. Don't get too caught up in sweating the details; just enjoy the rhythms and get carried along for the ride. Granted, it's been 8 or so years since I've read it, but from what I remember it's completely hilarious and wonderful.

Fee per trade is like 10 bucks. Still made more than I expected in the beginning.

Could being the future operative, no?

If it jumps up in the future, then great, if not, I got out before it did.

I do have a feeling that there is a ton of speculation going on now and nothing is absolute, which is why gold is going to jump. Maybe the company will as well, but that's good for them. We just parted ways.

Edit: Nvm, see that was directed at rog.

The gold bubble will burst soon as long as the Fed acts, the dollar continues to stabilize, and earnings and jobs continue to improve.
