eat a small something first, wait 30', then eat more.... people die from this you know (albeit, more extreme examples, such as feeding people freed from concentration camps)

Makes sense. I was thinking that it would be cool to take a flywheel from a garage-sale exercise bike and set it up in a rack adjacent to the trainer and drive it with a belt. I know a big flywheel makes a huge difference with the $12K SRM ergometers, so it would be cool to hack similar benefits for much less.

I'm going tonight after work. I've been taking my daughter for the past 2 years (she's going to be 5) and she actually enjoys coming along; when I mentioned it this morning her exact words were "we're going to vote, YAY!". I hope that habit sticks....

Google election ratings. Cool stuff. It's no CNN holograph, but I think I can get by.

I voted a week ago. It is so nice to sit at home and vote with the voters pamphlet. It helps when trying to figure out if a yes vote is for or against the measure

Our optical scanners seem like a good system. Simple, straightforward with a paper trail.

Yeah. It was pretty anticlimactic voting for the first time and connecting lines on a paper.

This girl rides for a team out of the same shop who sponsors the Hopkins team and is coached by the guy who coaches us. She is fast.
And she's got bigger guns than you and RTC combined.
