Also, stopping riding cold turkey might make you feel resentful after a while, and a small amount of riding will keep you connected, but not be a big time suck.

I guess it depends where cycling is on the list of "issues".

Beyond that, you gotta find a way to replace those endorphins are you may find yourself acting like a real dick.

the raging cortisol levels from training pretty hard suck too.

How are the O's looking for 2011? Oh wait, never mind.

I don't follow how he played the Yankees. Playing the Yankees would be to posit another team as his preferred city so the Yanks raise the offer when he knew he was going there all along. He went somewhere else and they still have 150 million in their pocket.

A bunch of firemen were hanging around outside (it was a very nice day out), and they had a big Flyers banner hanging up, so I blew the airhorn, and started yelling "Let's go Devils" honk, honk, honk honk honk. About 8 of them chased me down the block...

I watched game 7 at a bar in Las Vegas with my Flyers Jersey on, tears in my eyes and no money cause I had already purchased my Stanley Cup tix. The only good thing to come out of that game was Scott Stevens knocking that ***** Eric Lindros right out of the Flyers organization. I never liked that baby from the day he decided he was too good to play for the Nordiques.

That's what I'm snacking on right now in an attempt to avoid the Belgian chocolate cookies sent from a vendor...

At home I've had to resort to storing the bag way on top of the cupboards or else I have "just two or three" about fifty times a night.

I just discovered Pepperidge Farm Gingerbread Men.

Don't diss the Cainfro! It's as powerful as the Beard but stealthier.

Season of flukes. A fluke when they passed the Rockies. A fluke when they passed the Padres. A fluke when they beat the Braves. A fluke when they beat the Phillies. And a fluke when they beat the Rangers.

I knew you were OK. I prefer them roasted, but raw's fine too.

got a bag of TJ's Raw Almonds sitting in front of me. For me it's a twice a day thing, 13 almonds at a time. They are good, but thank goodness i don't like them the way i like peanut butter/nutella.

Nah, seriously, the Giants were the best team, the best team won. I can't argue that.

I was mostly pulling the chain of the Yanks fans, not really serious. It wasn't the same situation as, say, your first baseman.

Not having to face Cliff Lee in a division game is a plus for the Red Sox.

damned latest version of GC fails to build from source on my mac. I found another bug in the tcxparser and want to start working on a fix.. I've got an older version of the source that builds, I'll just work on the tcxparser from there.

I'm really not that worked up over it. I think he had an outliner year and I thought the money and years being thrown at him were wildly disproportionate to his body of work. I suspect at the end of this contract Philly will be scratching their head wondering what they were thinking.
