But there's no need for a belt if SW finds his 31's!

Edit: Dammit.

Dear Santa,

All I wanted for christmas was any insults directed my way to be in some way amusing or witty. That hasn't happened yet. I'm starting to think that mommy and daddy were right. You really don't exist.

Signed,
8 year old girl.

PS: For someone that buys so much of Rx's used gear, you'd think that some of the wit would have rubbed off as well.

I'm not trying to be witty I just really don't like you. If you don't know why go back to the few posts before your self inflicted ban...it was pretty well summed up there. Tell you what RTC I'll make you deal. The Twitter Feed is for useless banter..you have a tangental reason for being here. I'll ban myself from the Twitter feed and you can post all the inane BS you like, post and comment on stuff you have zero back ground in or first hand knowledge about. I'll stick the threads in the Racing Forum that actually pertain to stuff I'm involved with..like racing my bike and training....you do the same....That means since you don't race a bike or for that matter even ride a bike stay out. Deal?

Or you could just calm down and stop trying to corner me every time I've misspoken. I have no grudge against you. In fact, I was trying to be nice by asking you about your family/kids around xmas. But maybe you're too busy trying to piss me off by bringing up your fantasies about my hooking up with 50 year old women that you miss the big picture because you seem to have me so well figured out. You bring that up even when I've said nothing to you or about you. It's as if you're just trying to piss me off and get me to say something to you.

Hell I know I might act like a know it all at times. How many 21 year olds do you know that don't do it now and then? I'm just sick of you picking on me and then freaking out when I do the same to you. Yeah I know that you're older, but if you can't take it back, stop trying to serve it up.

I've been nothing but supportive of your racing and have commented as such before. I recall us getting along fine before you got your 3 upgrade, at which point you were suddenly aeons better than me. Look back at our posts, everything was good natured ribbing till then. Maybe I was a little too personal at some point, but all that would have required would have you either telling me as such or sending a PM and I would have apologized for that. No BS about, "Oh you can't ball bust on us because we're your elders and it's disrespectful for you to address it as such." (That was to the general population here.)

I also don't ride a bike anymore because I can't walk without pain for a few days after I ride even after PT and cortisone shots. This isn't a choice I made. I wanted to spend all of last year racing. I set up my entire academic schedule to give me time to do that and wanted to play with it for a few years before heading to grad school. I hang out here because your trials and tribulations on the bike and off the bike remind me that I want to come back to this. Besides, at times it feels like you're the only one with crap in your life that doesn't work. This thread reminds me that whenever those moments are, that they can be worked through. I see subby fighthing hard and that inspires me in other avenues of my life. I see you decide to ride a skateboard barefeet and remember that adults can be goofy too.

You're an online persona. You're probably pretty different in real life. Hell, I bet you'll disagree, but I think we'd get along if we ever met.

I came back because I had people posting all over my facebook telling me to come back and because I wanted to wish subby well.

I'm going to have to start ignoring some people.

EDR's posts are generally shorter and more entertaining, so I guess he wins.

My team's team retreat/trainingcamp is the weekend after next. I'm pretty stoked. I just wish we had a few more 3s. Right now it seems that there will only be 2 of us racing consistently; and 1 of us is more interested in mountain biking than road biking.

I wish the racing would begin already. I'm pretty nervous about the 3s, and the sooner I can race against these guys and see what I'm up against the better.

It's no big thing. It's just mostly the fast cat 4s who can (often) handle their bike a little better. The five fastest guys are fast. Everyone else is just a less crashy four. You'll be fine. Just stay aggressive, and act like you belong there.

This and the racing is only slightly less negative.

More emphasis on the "slightly" and less emphasis on the "less negative" part.

Yeah, basically this is my plan. I've hung in the 3/4 crits just fine with some big guns running the show; but they were flat.

I opted for the bit before the 'or' this time. Will do differently next time.
