If I do this and start seeing some money I might not be inclined to go to graduate school unless I get into UCSB or UCSC or somethin...
having a real job is a lot better than what 15% of the country could say. There will be races held on Sundays. Good luck with your interview.

I wasn't being facetious.

I raced like an idiot and this is a stepping stone job. No disrespect meant to the 15%.

It's a placeholder. That's what it's supposed to be.

Though I am wearing a nice watch and a few days ago someone claiming to be 100 looked at my online dating profile (!!!!! EW !!!!!).

I didn't get a single bike related thing for Christmas. Come to think about it, I only got a subscription to Smithsonian as a gift.

And I've come to realize, I don't really need anything other than what I have.

I'm glad I didn't get anything bike related. I have enough stuff. I did get a bunch of classes at an indoor climbing wall/yoga studio, mostly because of the yoga. I guess that's semi bike related.

sorry for the bad pic. I took a picture with my phone (droid X) and for some reason it put it in low res instead of 8MP.
My guess is you're right as far as bike fit or saddle choice. Get that sorted and you'll be in good shape. If a CAAD10 compares poorly in terms of ride (& I'm assuming CAAD 9 as well), then I bet it'd be right up my alley. It looks like it'd be a great bike to do Tuesday night worlds on. If you lay it down...oh well.

Thanks for the insight.

I gave myself a Powertap. NOW I am set.

I always get bike crap for the secret santa thing at work. This year my friend picked me and she did an excellent job: patch kit, multi tool, chain lube.

i hire recent college grads all the time. if you havent yet interviewed, here are some tips.

understand that as a college grad entering the workforce, you dont really know how to do anything and require alot of effort on the part of your hiring manager to become a productive employee; therefore, being personable and showing initiative goes a long, long way.

things to do:
present your self confidently
know something about the company youre interviewing with and how your background relates to the work they do/position being interviewed for
be prepared to answer some behavioral interview questions
be enthusiastic, but not flippant
be prepared to tell the interviewer(s) why they should hire you
be prepared to answer "if i asked a former employer or yours or college professor what your strengths and weaknesses are, what would they say?"
have some questions prepared about the company and the position that dont relate to you
if they ask your salary expectations, express what they are in a range, but know that the hiring manager already has a # in mind.
good luck!

Will do! It looks very shiny and pretty indeed...I am sorry that I will now proceed to ride the crap out of it and gunk it up with some yucky NY winter streets.

Yep, the chain popped out of the box but don't worry, it's still shiny and nice.

I don't think my sports bars thread will gain traction. Sports bras on the other hand could be epic.
