Good I guess. I mean we are at that point where its still a shock and we dont know just how bad it is so it really hasnt sunk in yet.

tomorrow is a pet scan of her whole body to see if its spread so i imagine the next few days of waiting are going to be tough.

Lithuania,

Give her all the support you can. None of these things are easy however in my humble opinion the big guy is more impressed in how one overcomes adversity than in what one otherwise accomplishes.Ive gone thru some tough times with both my wife and son and though not a regular church goer have never hesitated in asking for spiritual support.

My return frame made it safely to Pedal Force yesterday. Fed Ex knew where it was all along, it was the shipper that I used that screwed up. They gave me the wrong tracking number (they created two, canceled one, and gave me the canceled one), so it showed up as "information received" but never showed as "picked up".

Glad that's all sorted. They said they'll try to ship my frame tomorrow (not sure why not today ) so I'll have it Monday. I was hoping to have it this weekend, but whatever.

She has endured seven surgeries, three rounds of chemo and is doing wonderful. She is actively painting and getting on with her life. This is her after her last surgery and chemo. You would never know she was battling cancer.

Lit, Don't worry to much about the road ahead. Your wife, like mine, will be fine and will pull through this.

Greg180, your wife is an inspiration.

Lith, yours will be too. Be there, provide support at her rate, I think that's your role. When it comes down to it, nothing else really matters.

Lean on your friends for support, that's our role.

Be well.

Greg, those paintings are actually really really cool. I'm not really up to date on art, but I've never seen colors juxtaposed like that.

Neat-o.

Good to hear. I'll have to enjoy the photo at home -- no photobucket here at work (imageshack though...)

one of my BB30 bearings already feels rough. I took it apart (they're the ceramic Red bearings, so they're serviceable) and some of the balls didn't want to move around the race very easily, they kept getting stuck.

Not sure how that happened, but whatever. I can get some replacement (non-ceramic, so I don't have to baby them) online for like $25. I'll try them first, I doubt I can even tell once it's in the bike.

Drank half a can of yuengling and filled it back up with cider. Delicious.

I really like yuengling, though the taste confuses me for some reason. I think it's the caramel in it.

adjusted the cockpit on my MTB for easier one-finger braking. Put bigger grips on to relieve knuckle pain.

H1N1 vaccine comes to campus 10 AM Friday. I'm gonna be first in line, because I don't want to miss time on the bike, and I definitely don't want to die.

You might not be able to get it.

I think there's a caveat to the vaccine, and that is that it's only for persons under 18 and/or those who are immunocompromised slash have other illnesses/ailments like asthma and such.
